Traveling Vintage Style

So, yesterday, I posted about a couple blogs that helped with what-to-pack lists. Today, I am going to post what clothes I have packed: my edited version of both lists, which are hopefully more practical.

Checked bag:

Underwear, just a couple pairs, the rest are in my carry on
2 Scarves, the warm wooly kind (it's cold in Scotland!)
The Nesmith hat, you know, from the monkees, this is my ideal accessory
Gloves, warm ones, again
Night gown, a cute little pink, cotton one with teddy bears (the silk one is too special, I don't want to lose it)
House shoes, these can be slippers, slip on sandals (not flip-flops) or any other comfy shoe, for around the hotel room
2 Shirt waist dresses with belt
Skirt, a-line and neutral
Blazer that goes with the skirt (mine aren't the same color, but they coordinate)
3 Shirts that go with the skirt/blazer combo
A nice dress, but not too nice, for possible evening excursions
Black outfit, mine is black cigarette pants and a long sleeved v-neck pullover
Coat Hangers (to hang up a couple things before wearing them to prevent wrinkles)

Carry on:

Comfortable wrap dress (black and grey or other neutral)
Two cardigans, one a little bright, the other neutral
One extra pair of pants, just in case (mine are a second pair of black cigarette pants)
Scarves, but this time silk scarves for windy days and accessorizing
Comfortable heels
Clutch/small purse
Jewelry:
I have a couple necklaces, a few brooches, a watch, and earrings (I am avoiding bringing my         precious stones)
Lingerie:
Underwear, the rest of it, in case my checked bag doesn't make it right away
Girdles (I brought two full body corselettes, one black, one white, and a longline bra with open-bottom-girdle)
Two slips
Two pairs of stockings
Crinoline

That's all. I have plenty of other things packed, such as sponge curlers, a leather rain coat (well, I'm wearing that), makeup, ponds cucumber cleanser, and several books.

Also, I plan on posting pictures of me in each outfit during my trip, so look for those!
