Long Time, No See

I have not been on in quite some time. Probably because I did not have the motivation, but now, I feel it coming on. I am heading to Scotland this week, Thursday to be precise, and plan on traveling vintage. I scoured the internet, and found two blogs that helped me greatly prepare. One is Atomic Redhead. She has an post on traveling vintage. It tells what and how to pack for a few different circumstances. You can find it here.

Another place I found a comprehensive list of what women were suggested to pack in the 50's, so I took it to heart and packed accordingly. That link is here.
There are a few things on this second one that I find a bit excessive for the trip I am taking, so I am going to just opt out. I won't bring evening gowns or stockings and lingerie for gifts. Though, I did pack almost everything else that they suggested.

which I guess isn't too bad, but I like skirts so much better.
