Introduction

I am a passionate viewer of the past. Now, I grant that the present is wonderful, and that I could not truly exist with much of the technology of today (the internet for instance). But, I do truly enjoy history, vintage, and strange idioms from the past.
I once spent a week looking at vintage ads simply because they offer a unique perspective to the past. The food people ate. I mean it's like jell-o was a the novelty; well, that and cool whip. I found a recipe that combined mayonnaise, mustard and gelatin, gross.
I live in an era that is not my own. I always told people that I live in one of three years: 1962 if I was feeling normal, 1964 if I was feeling just a little rebellious, and 1968 if I was feeling really wild. Though, now I would probably add in 1959 for my basic every-day.
The past is a rich world that can be forever explored by the people of the present. I love vintage a lot, and wearing it sends me on an adventure to discover history!
